1-Royale with cheese :
This is how the story begins. Vincent Vega (Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (S.L.Jackson) were on their way to do their job. In the road they were having a cool, funny, unique conversation about Vincent's journey in europe. The conversation continue when they arrived. They talked about how their boss (Marsellus) killed a guy cause he gave Mia (the boss's wife) a foot massage. So here Vincent said that he was right about killing the man. His opinion was that "giving a woman a foot massage always mean something, while acting like they don't, but they do, and that's what's cool about it, cause there's a sensuous thing going on, where you don't talk about it, but you know and she knows, and Marcellus surely knew". Interesting point.
2-Say what again : Vincent and Jules gets into character. And well done S.L.Jackson, this is probably your best performance ever. He was somehow cool, but at the same time very horrific. You can only hear him talking, and do what he tells you to. Poor Brett he couldn't do nothing.
Just after killing him, Tarantino decided to go to another scene. But as i said, in this review we're gonna have the scene in their real order. A guy appeared. A guy they didn't know he was in that place. He pointed the gun on both Vincent and Jules, and shot. As he failed, they killed him. Vincent thought that what happened was normal. But Jules had another opinion.
[Jules and Vincent take Marvin with them in their car and Vincent's gun goes off and blows Marvin's head off]
Vincent: Whoa!
Jules: What the fuck's happening, man? Ah, shit man!
Vincent: Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face.
Jules: Why the fuck did you do that!
Vincent: Well, I didn't mean to do it, it was an accident!
Jules: Oh man I've seen some crazy ass shit in my time...
Vincent: Chill out, man. I told you it was an accident. You probably went over a bump or something.
Jules: Hey, the car didn't hit no motherfucking bump!
Vincent: Hey, look man, I didn't mean to shoot the son of a bitch. The gun went off. I don't know why.
Jules: Well look at this fucking mess, man. We're on a city street in broad daylight here!
Vincent: I don't believe it.
Jules: Well believe it now, motherfucker! We gotta get this car off the road! You know cops tend to notice shit like you're driving a car drenched in fucking blood.
3-I love you honey bunny:
After having some help from a "friend", and changing their clothes, both Vincent and Jules went to a restaurant. Where they at the same time two lovers decided to rob that restaurant. For this couple everything was going as planned, until they meet "the bad motherfucker". Who was relaxed, as if nothing is happening. Meanwhile Vincent was somewhere else. This is the first scene in the movie. Great introduction for what's coming next. Tim Roth appears again in Tarantino's movies. Leading an iconic conversation with Amanda Plummer and Samuel.L.Jackson.
Jules: Yolanda? How we doin, baby?
Yolanda: I gotta go pee! I want to go home.
Jules: Just hang in there, baby. You're doing' great. Ringo's proud of you and so am I. It's almost over. Tell her you're proud of her.
Pumpkin: I'm proud of you, Honey Bunny.
Yolanda: I love you!
Pumpkin: I love you too, Honey Bunny.
4-Vincent and Mia:
Vincent is taking Mia out. Not a date. Definitely not a date. She's his boss's wife. In those scenes we discover a very special character. I mean she's honest, smart, she have a good taste of music, and just like Vincent a "not giving a fuck" person. So they went to "Jackrabbit slim". She order a 5 dollar milk shake, which lead to one of the best conversations in this movie. Just before dancing with the rhythm of Chuck Berry's song,"You can never tell". Congratulation for them. They won the trophy, whatever. Now they're home again. And things getting hard for Vincent. If he make one mistake, his dead. Not even a foot massage. But unexpected thing happens, when Mia had an overdose of cocaine.
Mia: Don't you hate that?
Vincent: What?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.
5-Dance Scene :
6-Zed is dead baby:
First who's Butch ? Butch is an employe for Marcellus Wallas, just like Vincent and Jules. He had a boxing fight to do, and he was asked to lose it. But he simply killed the boxer. For that he was chased by Vincent. Who's he killed. And right after shooting him he met Wallace on his way to his wife. p.s: Butch had to go back to his house where he killed Vincent, just after the box fight. Because his spoiled wife forget Butch's father's watch there. Tarantino rules. Rip Vincent. Weird things happened after. Wallace running after Butch, end up with this Zed, who raped Wallace. Things gets weirder when Butch escaped from Zed, but he couldn't leave Wallace there. So he went back to saving, forgetting what his ex-boss told him about pride.
